Students will learn the process of Foundation, or Paper Piecing, by making a small
project that can be a wall hanging or a table topper. Skills learned will enable students to tackle more complicated patterns with confidence. The class will cover fabric choice, both color and value: the use of mirrors for auditioning fabrics: measuring and cutting for accuracy; the importance of organization and time use throughout the construction process; seam matching; multiple parts and border options, quilting and finishing. Class runs 3 weeks. Wednesdays; August 7, 14 and 21. From 1P - 4P.
