Patriotic Rope Bowl Class
In class you will learn:
- How to find the wood base center
- How to attach the wood base to the rope with faux leather using a lacing method
- How to use a mathematical equation to measure the placement of the handles
Supply List:
- Sewing machine (must have zig zag stitch), power cord, foot pedal, open tow foot
- Rotary cutter
- Two fat quarters of 1/2 yard of 2 fabric colors (your choice). Suggestion: Choose one multicolor (like tie-dye) and a solid color. Red, white and blue for the patriotic theme.
- Cream thread (if preferred, you may use a coordinating color)
- #14 needles and prewound bobbins
- Flat pins/Wonder Clips, seam ripper, and scissors
- Heat erasable pen/dark-colored
- 6"x24" ruler with 60 degree angle
Kit Includes: Rope, blue stick, cardboard, jute (handles), laser etch wood base, leather and embellishments
