Bear Country
The theme is "Bear Country", and can be composed in vertical or horizontal orientation. There are many fun possibilities in the fabric that you'll be working with. The image shows only one of them. All fabric and materials will be provided. No need to bring your machine to class. You will do the simple stitching at home. Your instructor will demonstrate her composition technique, the stitching process and finishes. Only bring a few basic sewing tools with you and enjoy the process of creating ART with fabric.
SUPPLY LIST:
- Rotary Cutter
- Ruler (18" is best)
- Small to medium size sharp embroidery type scissors (I like to use "duckbill" scissors.)
- Tacky glue (like Roxanne's Glue Baste-it)
- Small teflon sheet or parchment paper
- Light & dark marking pens or pencils
- All strips of fabric to complete the projects and fusible fleece
- Acid free 11"x14" framing mat and backing board, cellophane sleeve and mountain tape
- Informational/educational hand-outs including resource list.
