EQ8 Group

Must be a current owner of EQ8 from Electric Quilt, available for purchase in the shop.  Earlier versions have different features and menus, so you will need to complete the upgrade to version 8 prior to joining the group.  The group assumes a basic knowledge of how to use the program to draw a block, design a quilt.  If you are brand new to EQ8, please view the youtube video Let's Get Started Basic Quilt Design in EQ8 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSNKSQUCtDY prior to coming to a meeting.

You need to be able to design a block, use the block worktable to draw, color, export an image of the block and use the block library to add blocks to your block sketchbook. You should be able to use the fabric library to select and add fabrics to your project. You need to be able to use the quilt worktable to set the quilt parameters such as block size, borders, sashing, block placement (set style such as straight or on point), set the block into a quilt, and use the fabric tools to change colors. You need a basic familiarity with all the menu bars and how to use them, along with adding to the sketchbook and viewing the sketchbook.
