Rope Bowl Class - Advanced Beginner

In the class you will learn:

Rope positioning and tension to create bowl rigidity
Adding fabric to bowl base using decorative stitching
Bowl curvature using different degree angles
Beaded handles
Finished technique with a rope swirl and covered button

Supply List

Sewing machine with open toe foot
Extra bobbins
#14 needles
Seam ripper
1/2 yard fabric of your choice (batiks preferred, but you may use cotton)
Cream colored thread for bowl; or you may choose to use coordinating thread on your fabric. If so, bring both threads to switch when necessary.
Flat head pins
Heat erasable pen (dark color)
Small scissors for cutting rope
6x24 ruler with 60-degree mark
Rotary cutter
Cloth measuring tape
