Cyclone (Using Studio 180 Ruler)
In 2 hours you will make 2 different blocks with a variety of options and build skills in the process. It is addicting! (Left-handed instructions are included).
Supply List:
- Sewing Machine with ¼” foot – don’t forget your power cord and foot pedal!
- Rotary cutter with fresh blade, mat, basic ruler (ex: Creative Grids 6”x12” rectangular quilt ruler)
- Aurifil 50wt cotton thread or equivalent, pins, seam ripper, snips, burnisher (Clover Hera Marker Slim), fresh machine needle (Schmetz 70/10 recommended)
- Optional: Iron & small board, spray starch (Mary Ellen’s Best Press or Magic Premium Quilting and Crafting Spray), wooden clappers
- Studio 180 Tucker Trimmer I or III tool and Cyclone Technique Sheet, InvisiGrip (optional, but highly recommended) for back of Tucker Trimmer and basic ruler
- 3 contrasting fabrics – ¼ yard each or fat quarters (makes 4 blocks), or more to create your size quilt
