This month I will be showing two different ways to bring dimension to your embroidery work using Puffy Foam.

First, we’ll use a specially designed embroidery font digitized for puffy foam and embroider the word "Welcome".

Our second use will bring dimension to a knit shirt (I used an applique font in FTCU so there will be a few steps to follow and then stitching this out).

I’ll provide the embroidery words for both projects. For the shirt project, I’ll provide t-shirt material to practice with as word is DOG.

Supplies
   Puffy Foam (available at Beginnings shop)
   Needles:  For the word "Welcome" - Sharps 70/11 or 80/12
                  For the knit shirt - Ball point or stretch needle
   Material:  I made garden flag using Canvas type material for the "Welcome" project
   Stabilizer:  For the t-shirt we'll use Cutaway; for the garden flag I used Tear Away.
   Hoop:  5x7 or larger
